This itinerary will offer you the opportunity to visit the scenarios of the famous Turkish series “Diriliş Ertugrul and Kuruluş Osmanlı”. Check out the exclusive itinerary:

Itinerary

First day: Arrival in the city of Istanbul;

Second day: Tour in Istanbul;

Third day: Tour in Istanbul;

Fourth day: Travel to Söğüt and visit the tomb of Ertuğrul (via bus);

Fifth day: Travel to Cappadocia;

Sixth day: Tour in Cappadocia;

Seventh day: Travel to Pamukkale via Konya;

Eighth day: Visit to Ephesus;

Ninth day: Travel to Bursa and visit to Osman’s tomb;

Tenth day: Return to Istanbul;

Eleventh day: Free day in Istanbul;

Twelfth day: Transfer and return flight to your home.

Detailed itinerary

First day: Arrival in Istanbul

Reception at the airport with a cardboard poster written your name in it and private transfer to the hotel.

Accommodation in a hotel with breakfast included.

Second day: Tour in Istanbul

We will pick you at the hotel with the local guide with our private van at 9 am (or another time of your preference). Then, we will visit the following sightseeing:

– Ancient Roman Hippodrome;

– Blue Mosque;            

– Hagia Sophia;

– Basilica Cistern;

– Grand Bazaar.

Accommodation in the hotel.

Third day: Tour in Istanbul

We will pick you at the hotel with the local guide with our private van at 9 am (or another time of your preference). Then, we will visit the following sightseeing:

–  Suleymaniye Mosque;

–  Spice Market;

– Boat trip on the Bosphorus;

– Topkapı Palace.

Fourth day: Travel to Söğüt and visit to the tomb of Ertuğrul (via bus)

During the morning, we will leave Istanbul and continue our trip to the city of Söğüt. Then, we will visit the following attraction:

– Tomb of Ertuğrul: Ertuğrul is a Turkish historical fiction and adventure television series starring Engin Altan Düzyatan in the main role. The program is based on the history of the Turkish Muslim Oghuz and takes place during the 13th century. It focuses on the life of Ertuğrul, father of Osman I, who was the founder of the Ottoman Empire.

Accommodation in Söğüt.

Fifth day: Trip to Cappadocia

During the morning, we will take the road towards the Cappadocia region. This trip lasts 9 hours.

Then, transfer to the scheduled hotel. If you are willing, you can also stroll freely around the region or rest to enjoy the next day.

Sixth day: Tour in Cappadocia

You will be able to participate in a balloon ride; however, this attraction is optional. Please communicate your preference with the guide the one day before.

After breakfast at the hotel, we will do a full day tour included in the package around 9 am. This tour passes through the fairy chimneys and the incredible museum of Göreme.

Then, we will visit one of the typical onyx and turquoise workshops and the Paşabağ, Avcilar, Avanos, and Guvercinlik valleys, which provide a spectacular landscape of the chimneys. We will also be able to visit one of the typical Turkish carpet workshops.

During the tour, we will have lunch at a local restaurant.

Dinner will take place at the hotel.

Note: We offer accommodation in establishments known as “cave hotels”. We have more than 300 options in the region. Therefore, if you are curious to experiment, show your interest when requesting a quote. In addition, if you choose to stay in a cave hotel, we will charge an additional fee.

Seventh day: Trip to Pamukkale via Konya

After breakfast, our guide will meet you at the hotel and you will take the road towards Pamukkale.

On the way, there will be visits to the 13th-century Selchuklular Sultanhan Caravanserai and the city of Konya, famous for the Museum of Mevlana – Theological School of Sufis, which has origins in the traditional habits of a mystical religious sect of Islam that venerates the love for itself, by nature and by the Creator.

After cultural visits, there will be tours in various historic Turkish countryside villages where you will have the opportunity to buy handicrafts and experience the typical local flavor, the arrival at the hotel in Pamukkale will be scheduled at around 7:00 pm.

Note:

– Dinner at the hotel with a free buffet and lunch during the tours with the executive menu will be included on this day.

– The visit to Pamukkale may take place on this day or may be postponed to the next as it arrives in the region.

– On this day we will travel 600 km.

Eighth day: Visit to Ephesus

After breakfast, our guide will meet you and you will follow towards the tourist site of Pamukkale. In this place, you will find the ancient city of Hierapolis and the natural pools of the Cotton Castle.

After visiting, you will go to Selçuk – the city that houses the open-air museum of Ephesus. In the museum of Ephesus, are: the ruins of Odeon, Gate of Hercules, Temple of Hadrian, the Magnificent Library and the Greco-Roman theater.

Then, we will visit the most important point of the route (for the Catholic public), which is the visit to the house of the Virgin Mary, where you can leave your prayers and requests.

Accommodation in Selçuk (the city that houses Ephesus).

Ninth day: Trip to Bursa and visit to Osman’s tomb

During the morning, we will leave toward the city of Bursa. On this day, we will visit the following sights:

– Osman’s Tomb: Osman (also known as Osman I) was the leader of the Ottoman Turks and founder of the Ottoman dynasty. Also, he named the then Ottoman Empire (then called Beilhique or Ottoman Emirate);

– Koza Han: Also known as “Silk Bazaar”, it is one of the oldest markets in the world and has been in business since 1491.

Accommodation in Bursa.

Tenth day: Return to Istanbul

During the morning, we will take the flight back to the city of Istanbul.

Accommodation in scheduled hotel.

Eleventh day: Free day in Istanbul

On this day, you can freely stroll through the city of Istanbul or rest in your hotel. If you wish, our guide can organize a private tour. Please express your interest with our attendants.

Accommodation in scheduled hotel.

Twelfth day: Transfer and return flight.

After breakfast, we will take you to Istanbul Airport to take your return flight.
