Ephesus and Pamukkale from Istanbul

Visit Ephesus, Mary’s House, and the Pamukkale Pools in just one day. If you are going to travel to Turkey but do not have much time and want to visit Ephesus and Pamukkale, we have this service especially for you.

Itinerary
Trip to Ephesus
We will meet you at the hotel in Istanbul around 5:30 am for taking the flight leaving at 7:00 am in Istanbul and arriving at around 8:00 am in Izmir (we recommend you travel carrying just a few belongings because we will return the same day).
Landing in Izmir, our guide greets us on the way out with our driver. We take our car (van, minibus, or bus) and we will take the road for 70 km to Ephesus.
Ephesus is a museum and archaeological site that is very well preserved, where we have the ruins belonging to the Greco-Roman period. In this museum, we made a walk among the ruins of this ancient city.
We make a monitored visit with the company of our private guide. The visit lasts 1h30m.
After that, we go to the house of Mary, which is located 8 km away from Ephesus. This is the house in which some myths affirm that Mary  (mother of Jesus Christ) used to live during her last days of life. Accompanied by St. John the Evangelist, Mary was taken to Ephesus from Jerusalem. During this visit, there is the custom of placing a request on the wall. So, prepare your order in advance! In the house, there is also a source considered sacred, in which it is possible to drink water, or even save a little to take home, to your family or friends. Get ready for this meeting!

Trip to Pamukkale

After we finish both visits, we can have lunch in the city of Selçuk. After that, we will travel to Pamukkale (190 km away). The road is very good and quiet.
We will travel to Pamukkale with our car and the guide company.
Arriving in Pamukkale, we go straight to the tourist site of Pamukkale, where the thermal water pools and the ruins of Hierapolis are.
The pools are unique in the world. On this visit, it is possible to walk in the pools and even get wet, but it is not possible to bath in these pools.
The most interesting moment in this parade is the martyrdom of St. Philip, the apostle of Jesus Christ who took refuge in the city and after inviting people to believe in the Christ, was punished by the pagans. Later, the Roman empire built a martyrdom in homage to St. Philip, an octagonal temple.
We will have a typical lunch in the region with exotic dishes composed of vegetables from the region.
Around 5:00 p.m., we will follow straight to Denizli Airport to catch the flight. This airport is 90 km away from Pamukkale. The flight leaves at 7:30 p.m. and arrives in Istanbul at 8:40 p.m.
After Landing in Istanbul, our receptionist will greet you and transfer you to your hotel.
