First option

First Day – Istanbul

  • Arrival at Ataturk airport and transfer to the hotel.

Third Day – Istanbul / Cappadocia

  • Free morning for activities or excursion (optional) on the Bosporus with lunch
  • In the afternoon, transfer to Istanbul airport and flight to Kayseri (80km from Cappadocia).
  • Transfer in Cappadocia and accommodation.

Fourth Day – Cappadocia

  • Breakfast and departure to visit the spectacular region of Cappadocia, with its set of lunar landscapes, incomparable formations, creations of nature by eruptions and erosions. We will cross the Goreme Valley, an incredible Byzantine monastic complex with churches, with beautiful frescoes: villages of Pasabag, the fortress of Uçhisar, Ortahisar, the chimneys of the fairies of Urgup, ridges crowned by flat stones in Avanos.
  • Visit to the underground city of Ozkonak, which was used as a refuge by Christians at the time and an atelier of handmade carpets.
  • Lunch on the way.
  • Dinner and overnight.

Fifth Day – Cappadocia / Kayseri / Izmir / Pamukkale

  • Breakfast and transfer to the airport for the flight to Izmir.
  • Arrival in Izmir and one way to Pamukkale.
  • In the afternoon, visits to Pamukkale: The castle of Cotton, natural wonder of waterfalls formed over the centuries by calcareous salt water fountains.
  • Dinner and lodging.

Sixth Day – Pamukkale / Kusadasi

Breakfast and visit the ancient city of Hierapolis with its immense necropolis, one of the most interesting and rich of Asia Minor. Lunch on the way and visit to Aphrodisias, ancient city named after Goddess Aphrodite. Visit to the Stadium, Greco-Roman structure with capacity for 30,000 Spectators, the Odeon and the ruins of the Aphrodite Temple. Arrival in Kusadasi, dinner and lodging.

Seventh Day – Kusadasi / Ephesus / Izmir / Istanbul

  • Departure to Ephesus, one of the grandest and best preserved cities of antiquity. We will visit the Odeon, Temple of Hadrian, the famous Roman baths, the Library of Celsus, the famous Theater and etc. We will continue to visit the House of the Virgin Mary and the Basilica of Saint John the Evangelist, places of outstanding pilgrimage.
  • Lunch in Selcuk.
  • Transfer to Izmir airport and flight to Istanbul.
  • Arrival and transfer to hotel.

Eighth Day – Istanbul

  • Breakfast at the hotel and at scheduled times
  • Transfer to Ataturk airport for your return flight

OPTIONAL EXCURSIONS

Full Day: Classic Istanbul with lunch – 70 EUR (per person)

We will enjoy a full day tour of the Sultan Ahmet district, the UNESCO-recognized place as the heart of Istanbul’s old center. We will visit the magnificent church of Saint Sophia, the first great church of Christianity, which was a point of reference for the Orthodox for 1000 years. It was the first building in the world to be built with a dome in the sixth century and was converted into a mosque in the year 1453. We will continue the visit on foot to the Blue Mosque, which owes its name to the famous Iznik tiles, which make up its interior. We will see later, the remnants of the Byzantine Hippodrome, which still retains an Egyptian obelisk, a bronze sculpture of ancient Greece and a German fountain. Continue to Topkapi Palace, residence of the Sultans of the Ottoman Empire, nowadays it is one of the richest museums in the world, with excellent collections of jewelry, porcelain, costumes and relics and, finally, the Grand Bazaar. We will provide free time to take advantage of the more than 400 stores that are in this place. This market is a shopping paradise where we will have the opportunity to see an exhibition of Turkish carpets. After the negotiations and purchases made, we will find the guide to return to the hotel.

Bosphorus with lunch – 70 EUR (per person)

Departure from the hotel to the Spice Bazaar and after the visit, transfer to the port to start a cruise on the Bosphorus (narrow that separates the Asian and European continents). A beautiful walk in which you can admire the palaces and mansions and have a beautiful panoramic view of the villages of the edge of Istanbul. Lunch and departure to the airport of Ataturk to catch the flight to Kayseri.

Istanbul at night – 70 EUR (per person)

Departure from the hotel to reach a famous party hall in Istanbul, from where you can admire a typical show that consists of folk dances, belly dancing and an international music show. Dinner and a bottle of wine included.

Balloon ride in Cappadocia – 170 EUR (per person)

The balloon ride is held in the morning, next to the sunrise. The balloons can accommodate 8 to 20 people. The hotel shuttle is done around 5:30. There is a small breakfast with tea / coffee to await the preparation of the balloon. The flight takes approximately 50 minutes and at the end there is a celebration with champagne and flight certificate. The shuttle returns to the hotel around 8:30 am.

  • We will visit the ancient Therapeutic Center dedicated to Aesculapius, God of Medicine. After lunch, continuation of the trip to Bursa, which was the first capital of the Ottoman Empire.
  • Arrival in the afternoon.
  • Dinner and lodging.

Ninth Day – Bursa / Istanbul

 

  • After breakfast, visit this beautiful city, famous for its silks and Turkish baths. We will visit the Great Mosque, the Green Mosque and finish in the Silk Bazaar.
  • Departure to Istanbul. Arrival in early afternoon.
  • Rest of the day at leisure.

 

Tenth Day – Bursa / Istanbul
